01. Respect is vital. This is the most important rule that you will find here in the rulebook of Pursual, and we truly cannot stress it enough! Remember that old quote from Bambi? "If you can't say something nice... don't say nothing at all"? Yeah, well let's make that our mantra, shall we? Rudeness and disrespect will not be tolerated in any form here. We aim to make Pursual a friendly, welcoming environment, so let's just get along, hey!
02. Swearing is fine, so long as it is kept in moderation. We don't want to be hearing a curse every other word, so be reasonable.
03. "Chatspeak" should be kept off the site please. Abbreviations such as "lol", "g2g", "brb" and so on are the only exceptions to this rule, and these should only ever be used while Out of Character, never In Character.
04. No advertising in the cbox! Links in names are acceptable.

01. Pursual is run on an account per character system. And your account name should be that of your character, properly capitalised and without any decoration.
02. The initial character limit is three per member. These you may make whenever you like. Don't worry though, if you want more, all that you need to do is PM a staff member, and they will be happy to evaluate your activity and decide whether or not you should be granted permission to create a new character.
03. Since Pursual is a fantasy wolf roleplay, your wolf's eyes and fur may come in any colour under the sun! However, at the present time, things such as wings, horns, extra limbs, or any sort of unnatural powers, are not allowed on the site. So yes, you can have a pink wolf with yellow spots, but s/he cannot have wings, three tails and the ability to read minds!
04. All characters must be applied for and approved by a member of staff before being allowed to roleplay.
05. Please don't go around making Mary-Sue characters! If they seem cliché and 'perfect' then don't make them! A character without any flaws will never be accepted, as they are a nightmare to roleplay with.
06. Wolves are the only creatures currently playable on Pursual. Humans do not exist in this world, and so there no dog breeds hanging about. Wolves only, please!
07. We run on an account per character system here at Pursual. This means that your account name should be that of your character, and should you wish to create a new wolf, you must create a new account on which to play them. There should also be no decoration in your username, save for staff accounts, which each have an identifying asterisk after their name.
08. Should you wish for your wolf to breed or mate, then you are free to do so, but please bare in mind that if your character is not an Alpha, then your pack leader may take issue with this! It is often wise to have your character approach the Alpha(s) IC and ask for permission, which may or may not be granted. Later, upon competition of a breeding thread, a PM should be sent to an Admin, who will work out the stats for your litter and post them up in the adoptions board.

01. While there is no strict word-count here at Pursual, we do ask that you aim for a minimum of two good sized paragraphs for each In Character post. It may also be a good idea to attempt to roughly mirror the amount written by the person roleplaying with you.
02. Godmodding and powerplaying are not accepted In Character, unless express permission is given by the other member involved. If you require definitions of these terms then please feel free to ask a member of staff. We will be happy to explain further.
03. Remember to proof-read and spell-check your posts before submitting them! We're expecting a decent level of literacy here. A few mistakes are understandable, but if a post is riddled with them, then you will be asked to edit.
04. Pursual operates on something called liquid time. This means that your character may be in any number of threads at once, so long as you are able to keep up with them all. You should have these arranged into some sort of order in your mind so that things remain as chronological as possible.
